BarBur Viaggi has been chosen by the organizing committee of REI-15 Symposium to be the official travel agency providing hotel accommodation. Contact details are at the page bottom.

A list of Hotels with special REI-15 Symposium rates have been selected in Padua near the Conference Venue. The mentioned hotels have an allotment reserved for REI 15 Symposium but be informed that the rooms are limited and the requests will be granted on a “first come, first served” basis.

Also Student Accomodations at special rates are available. In this case, please do not forget to send your CV signed by your Supervisor with subject "REI-15 Student Application - [Family Name]" to chair@rei2009.org to confirm the "Student" status, otherwise the booking cannot be finalized.

Due to other events in Padua during the months of August and September, early booking is highly recommended.

BarBur Viaggi will then contact you to give you further details about your reservation and the hotel cancellation policy. To guarantee your booking your credit card details are requested. You will be charged with a deposit of 30% of the total amount of your stay and the balance will be settled at the hotel.

Cancellation policy: for cancellations notified within 10 days prior to arrival you will be charged a penalty of 10% of the total amount. From the 10th day to 24 hours prior to arrival, a penalty of 1 night stay will be charged. In case of no show the amount of the whole booking will be charged. Notification of cancellation must be sent by email at reservationrei15@barburviaggi.com

Confirmation of hotel accommodation following availability will be notified to all participants directly by BarBur Viaggi. An invoice for the complete payment will be issued by BarBur Viaggi upon check-out. No reservation requests will be accepted if not accompanied by the requested Credit Card details and cardholder’s signature. All bookings, queries and payments related to hotels and shuttle service from the airport should be sent directly to BarBur Viaggi and not to the Conference Secretariat.

We inform you that in case you require an invoice for your accommodation we will pick up the details from your registration form.

Airport shuttle service from/to Venice Airport

A collective shuttle service can be arranged from Venice Airport to the hotels and back.

A special rate of € 18 per person – one way will be applied to all participants arriving on the 30th of August and departing on the 4th-5th of September.

For participants travelling on different dates, an individual rate of max. € 29 (one-way trip) will be applied per person (the rate can be reduced according to the number of requests) .
